Old Oxford Speaks To Me

This book is written by David G. Tatum who was born and raised in Oxford, Mississippi. It covers his childhood memories from the 1950’s and 1960’s. It’s as hilarious as it is sad as it reflects the real life he was surrounded by and remembers. 
 
It also goes back in history and time as he grew up in Ammadelle, a National Historic Landmark, which in itself has much history to be told, hence how history became one of his favorite pastimes. The story along with the graves of all of the previous homeowners make for an interesting read.
